Argentine Bahia

Bahia was originally used as pasture grass. It has a coarse texture with low-growing stout, woody runners. Bahia does best in sunny areas and can be ruined by excessive watering. Bahia provides a decent "medium utility" turf grass in Southern areas but will not provide as fine a lawn as others.
