DESCRIPTION:
Introduced
in 1973, Floratam is almost exclusively
used in Florida. Floratam establishes
and spreads rapidly, while producing
thick turf with a very coarse texture.
It does well in many diverse soils
and is highly competitive against weeds.
Proper mowing and irrigation make
Floratam a well-adapted turf for home
lawns in Florida.
